Pennsylvania Sigma Chapter of Lambda Nu National Honors Society for Medical Imaging Inducts 12 Students and 10 Alumni
The School of Health Sciences Medical Imaging Program recently inducted 12 students and 10 alumni into the Pennsylvania Sigma chapter of Lambda Nu National Honor Society for the Radiologic and Imaging Sciences. These individuals are among a distinguished group of medical imaging professionals who meet or exceed rigorous standards and who demonstrate the ideal qualities of a scholar. Those honored were: students -Leigh Buczynski, Linley Eberhart, Abigail Eckert, Jennie Moyer, Faith Orrs, Sherry Reitz, Myranda Saul, George Schmidt, Emily Schuller, Stephanie Siwik, Rikki Smith, Jocelyn Tuck, alumni - Crystal Burnette; Stephanie Frantz, Alysha Fromuth, Tina Horbach, Cathryn Marcincavage, Danielle Nicholas, Devon Noroski, Kristie Pietruszynski, Audrey Sproesser and Laura Weiner.
Lambda Nu has 184 chapters in 43 states across the country. The purpose of this chapter is to recognize exemplary scholarship, foster excellence in teaching and scholarly inquiry in the radiologic and imaging sciences, foster lifelong learning in professionals for meaningful lives and productive careers, and foster highly skilled, knowledgeable, and caring individuals that can provide quality patient care in the medical community.
